Atelier SANTERASMO CINQUE
I recently visited the Atelier Santerasmo Cinque, enchanting Milanese cathedral of dandyism, atelier placed in Piazza Sant’ Erasmo 5, in the area of Via Manzoni, featuring polysensorial suggestions, scents, books, artworks, furnishing, sartorial menswear and accessories, fetishes of a lifestyle under the sign of a caressing, timeless elegance, evoking the paradigm “less is more” by the celebrated Beau Brummel. Here it shines the refinement along with its marvelous details: high quality fabrics – as the cashmere and vicuna by Scabal -, the creations of Polosophy and the bicycles by Abici, precious cufflinks by Silvia Gagliardini, amazing shoes, a smashing collection of underwear, a selection of vintage clothing and old collectible watches as well as Epicurean delights. A suggestive place to visit for a “sublime dandy” – as the philosopher Michel Onfray asserts in the magnificent book he wrote “The sculpture of self” -, “who practices the gesture and sovereignty, defiance and irony, style and seduction with all of the regality of the one who practices the art of not pleasing”.

Ho recentemente visitato l’ Atelier Santerasmo Cinque, incantevole cattedrale milanese del dandismo, atelier ubicato in Piazza Sant’ Erasmo 5, nei dintorni di Via Manzoni, di cui sono protagoniste plurime suggestioni poli-sensoriali, profumi, libri, opere d’arte, componenti d’arredo, abbigliamento da uomo sartoriale e accessori, feticci di uno stile di vita all’ insegna di una carezzevole eleganza senza tempo che evoca il paradigma “il meno è più” del celebre Beau Brummel. Ivi splende la raffinatezza ed i suoi meravigliosi dettagli: tessuti di alta qualità – quali il cachemire e la vigogna di Scabal -, le creazioni di Polosophy e le biciclette di Abici, i preziosi gemelli di Silvia Gagliardini, splendide calzature, una formidabile collezione di biancheria intima, una selezione di capi vintage ed orologi antichi da collezione come anche delizie epicuree. Un luogo suggestivo da visitare per un “sublime dandy” – come afferma il filosofo Michel Onfray nel magnifico libro da lui scritto “La scultura del sé” -,“colui che pratica il gesto e la sovranità, la sfida e l’ ironia, lo stile e la seduzione con tutta la regalità di chi pratica l’ arte di dispiacere”.

The Too Late watches interpreted by Andy
Watches under the sign of New-pop art and avant-garde, interpreted by the smashing artist, musician and singer Andy for the factory 2L8LAB of Italian brand TOO LATE.
