It was held at the Rome Costume and Fashion Academy the Open-day, smashing event which showcased the work by renowned fashion school established yesterday by Rosana Pistolese, headed today by the daughter Fiamma Lanzara and her son Lupo Lanzara, who started a work successfully joining fashion to contemporary times.

Here it was showcased the works of graduated students included in the factories featuring in the training courses of Academy as the ones on accessories, jewelry, fashion design and many other ones along with the sketches and items presented during Talents 2013( event which was held on January 2013 during the latest edition of Altaroma). A brilliant initiative to show the work of a laudable and healthy institution to discover and enjoy.

Si è tenuto presso l’ Accademia di Costume e Moda di Roma l’ Open-day, formidabile evento che ha presentato l’ opera della rinomata scuola di moda fondata ieri da Rosana Pistolese, guidata oggi dalla figlia Fiamma Lanzara e da suo figlio Lupo Lanzara, che ha intrapreso un’ opera che felicemente unisce la moda alla contemporaneità.

Ivi sono state esposti i lavori degli studenti neo-diplomati inclusi nei laboratori protagonisti dei corsi formativi dell’ Accademia quali quelli su accessori, gioielli, fashion design e molti altri unitamente ai bozzetti e capi presentati in occasione di Talents 2013( evento che si è tenuto nel Gennaio 2013 in occasione dell’ ultima edizione di Altaroma). Una brillante iniziativa per mostrare il lavoro di una lodevole e salubre istituzione da scoprire e apprezzare.

Young talents, fashion and its culture featured in the latest edition of “Talents 2013”, event included in the calendar of Altaroma, organized by a smashing institution, The Rome Costume & Fashion Academy headed by Fiamma Lanzara along with her lovely son Lupo Lanzara who is successfully making concrete a laudable work to renew the legendary fashion school established by his grandmother Rosana Pistolese.

A jury of experts including renowned personas of the fashion systems, as the smashing, iconic and warm-hearted individual Lapo Elkann(who established Italia Independent, brand of menswear which also includes a catchy eyewear collection), Laura Lusuardi (creative director of Max Mara), Matteo Marzotto, Vladimiro Baldin (creative director of DIESEL), Raffaello Napoleone (PITTI), Giovanna Gentile Ferragamo, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Barbara Franchin, Fabio Quaranta, Deanna Veroni Ferretti, Ernesto Esposito, Sara Maino and others, voted the best emerging fashion designer graduated in the fashion school.

And the winner has been Francesca Della Valle who presented a menswear collection under the sign of minimal suggestions. Last but not the least along with many other promising and fun, young creatives I like remembering the work of Benedetta Trifirò, the finalist Maria Graziani and the fun creations by Piergiorgio Meschini.

Ho apprezzato l’ edizione di Altaroma  e condiviso le sue plurime suggestioni all’ insegna di arte, moda, cultura, sartorialità e giovane creatività con l’ editor at large di Vogue Italia e L’Uomo Vogue Cesare Cunaccia (iconica individualità, brillante ed eclettica mente e beneamato amico).

Giovani talenti, moda e la sua cultura sono stati i protagonisti dell’ ultima edizione di “Talents 2013”, evento incluso nel calendario di Altaroma, organizzato da una formidabile istituzione, l’ Accademia di Costume & Moda di Roma guidata da Fiamma Lanzara unitamente al suo gentile figlio Lupo Lanzara che sta felicemente concretizzando un lodevole lavoro per rinnovare la leggendaria scuola di moda fondata dalla nonna Rosana Pistolese.

Ultimo, ma non meno importante, mi piace ricordare  unitamente agli altri fari promettenti e divertenti, giovani creativi, il lavoro di Benedetta Trifirò, la finalista Maria Graziani e le divertenti creazioni di Piergiorgio Meschini.

The Rome Costume & Fashion Academy headed by Fiamma Lanzara will open on 23rd November 2012 at 2:30 pm the 2012/2013 academic year with a talk featuring the celebrated fashion designers duo formed by Tommaso Aquilano(alumnus of the fashion school) and Roberto Rimondi wich will be moderated by the journalist Cinzia Malvini. A not to be missed happening to enjoy two bright creatives and know more about the laudable work of the famous fashion school established by the celebrated Rosana Pistolese.

L’ Accademia di Costume e Moda diretta da Fiamma Lanzara inaugurerà il 23 novembre 2012 alle ore 14:30 l’ anno accademico 2012/2013 con un talk di cui sarà protagonista il celebre duo di designers formato da Tommaso Aquilano(ex studente della scuola di moda) e Roberto Rimondi che sarà moderato dalla giornalista Cinzia Malvini. Un evento imperdibile per apprezzare due brillanti creativi e sapere di più sulla lodevole opera della famosa scuola di moda fondata dalla celebre Rosana Pistolese.

During the latest edition of AltaRoma the “Accademia factory, the white tree”, event showcasing the creativity of the graduate students of renowned fashion school, Rome Fashion & Costume Academy, founded by the genius Rosana Pistolese and directed today by her daughter, Fiamma Lanzara, where graduates include: Tommaso Aquilano, RossoRame along with today’s students as Livia Risi, Irene Tortora, Masashi Ono and many others who showcased their creations. It has recently held at the Rome Costume & Fashion Academy the meeting “150 years of Italian fashion: the women who marked fashion” which featured as speakers the fashion historian Bonizza Giordani Aragno, Stefano Dominella, President of fashion house Gattinoni, the Micol Fontana’s nephew, the journalist, fashion and costume historian Sofia Gnoli and the Costume ad set designer Andrea Viotti who explored the Italian fashion and its emblematic personas, women who contributed to the rise of Italian haute couture as the Queen Margherita of Savoy – focusing on her connection to Charles Frederick Worth -, Rosa Genoni, the legendary Elsa Schiaparelli, Rosana Pistolese, eclectic persona and founder of Rome Costume & Fashion Academy, as well as the aristocratic women of fashion as Gabriella di Robilant, Irene Galitzine and Simonetta Colonna di Cesarò. Here it was talked about the connection of fashion to art, film, considering the movie stars, yesterday icons as Ava Gardner, who had a strong friendship with the Fontana sisters – evidenced by the screening of a suggestive documentary where Micol Fontana told about the rise of the haute couture brand – and Ingrid Bergman, customer and friend of Fernanda Gattinoni. Nice tales that evidence the Italian creativity and sartorialism, a long time tradition which made worldwide celebrated the made in Italy.

Si é recentemente tenuto presso l’’ Accademia di Costume & Moda di Roma il convegno “150 anni di moda italiana: le donne che hanno segnato a moda”, di cui sono stati protagonisti nelle vesti di relatori la storica della moda Bonizza Giordani Aragno, Stefano Dominella, Presidente della casa di moda Gattinoni, la nipote di Micol Fontana, la giornalista, sotrica della moda e del costume Sofia Gnoli ed il costumista e scenografo Andrea Viotti che hanno esplorato la moda italiana ed i suoi emblematici personaggi, donne che hanno contribuito alla nascita dell’ alta moda italiana quali di la regina Margherita di Savoia – concentrandosi sul suo legame con Charles Frederick Worth -, Rosa Genoni, la leggendaria Elsa Schiaparelli, Rosana Pistolese, eclettico personaggio e fondatrice dell’ Accademia di Costume & Moda di Roma, come anche le aristocratiche della moda quali Gabriella di Robilant, Irene Galitzine e Simonetta Colonna di Cesarò. Ivi si è parlato del legame della moda all’ arte, cinema, considerando le star del cinema, icone di ieri quali Ava Gardner che ha avuto una forte amicizia con le sorelle Fontana – testimoniata dalla proiezione di un suggestivo documentario in cui Micol Fontana raccontava della nascita del marchio di alta moda – ed Ingrid Bergman, cliente ed amica di Fernanda Gattinoni. Simpatici racconti che testimoniano la creatività e sartorialità italiana, un’ antica tradizione che ha reso il made in Italy celebre in tutto il mondo.
