The marvelous hats made by the brilliant New York milliner Anastasia Andino aka La China Loca recently featured in two events that were held in New York during the New York Fashion week: the presentation of Spring/Summer 2014 collection by Sergio Davila and the fashion show of La mode abyssale, brand created by Helen Bender, who presented the bridal collection for lesbian couples (a laudable project which is a concrete way by using fashion to assert a necessary and right idea: the recognition of dignity and rights for the same sex couples). Here shined the creations she made, successfully joining craftsmanship and a catchy design under the sign of glamour.

I meravigliosi cappelli realizzati dalla brillante designer di cappelli newyorkese Anastasia Andino aka La China Loca sono stati recentemente protagonisti di due formidabili eventi che si sono tenuti a New York in occasione della New York Fashion week: la presentazione primavera/estate 2014 di Sergio Davila e la sfilata di La mode abyssale, brand creato da Helen Bender, che ha presentato la collezione di abiti da sposa per coppie lesbiche (un lodevole progetto che è un modo concreto di avvalersi della moda per affermare un’ idea necessaria e giusta: il riconoscimento della dignità e dei diritti delle coppie del medesimo sesso). Ivi hanno brillato le creazioni da lei realizzate che felicemente uniscono artigianalità e un accattivante all’ insegna del glamour.

The smashing New York milliner Anastasia Andino, who created the brand La China Loca, will feature in the latest edition of New York Fashion Week as milliner for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection by Sergio Davila which will be presented today during a brunch which will be held in New York at Malt ‘n Mash ( 55th Gansevoort Street). The brilliant milliner will also feature in the debut of German fashion designer Helen Bender, creator of brand La mode abyssale, who will present the collection of bridal collection for lesbian couples in New York during the Couture Fashion Week, of whose fashion show will be held today at 8:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom of the New Yorker Hotel. It will be screened on 15th August 2013, at 7:00 pm, at the New York Museum of Art and Design the documentary “An evening with Quentin Crisp & Penny Arcade”, a smashing film depicting the art and wisdom of Quentin Crisp, an Englishman in New York and  reminding me the song by Sting dedicated to the artist. A story under the sign of romanticism, power of ideas, dandyism and art. The film is part of a wider project, “The Lower East Side Biography Project”, created in 1999 by the vibrant performance artist Penny Arcade and video producer Steve Zehentner as a biography series and oral history archive in order to ensure future generations have access to the mad souls of invention and rebellion that built the New York Lower East Side’s international reputation, area considered as an incubator for authenticity and iconoclasm in art, culture and politics. A not to be missed  - free – event to enjoy and know more and better about an iconic artist.

Sarà proiettato il 15agosto 2013, alle ore 19:00, presso il Museum of Art and Design di New York il documentario “An evening with Quentin Crisp & Penny Arcade”, una formidabile pellicola che ritrae l’ arte e la saggezza di Quentin Crisp, un Englishman in New York e mi ricorda la canzone di Sting dedicata all’ artista. Una storia all’ insegna di romanticismo, potere delle idee, dandismo e arte. The movie which will be presented on Fall in USA, talks about the club owned by Hilly Kristal, interpreted by Alan Rickman(the cast includes also Ashley Greene, Donald Logue, Ryan Hurst, Johnny Galecki, Stana Katic and Rupert Grint), who supported the artists to every cost and obliged them to perform in the club, singing just only their original music and no covers. A smashing portrait of an age, a prolific age for rock, a not to be missed movie for all the ones who are devoted to music and its suggestions.

Il film che sarà presentato in autunno negli USA, parla del club di proprietà di Hilly Kristal, interpretato da Alan Rickman(il cast include anche Ashley Greene, Donald Logue, Ryan Hurst, Johnny Galecki, Stana Katic e Rupert Grint), che supportava gli artisti a ogni costo e li obbligava a esibirsi nel club, suonando soltantola loro musica e nessuna cover.
