Art, irony, theatrical and visionary suggestions shine in the Spring/Summer 2012 collection of MoonSpoon Saloon, marvelous brand and artistic collective created by the designer Sara Sachs, artist Tal R and the photographer, filmmaker Noam Griegst, who live and create between Copenaghen and Los Angeles, featuring as performer artists in many museums and art galleries as the London Victoria Miro Gallery which hosted the performance “White Crane” and the “Heavy metal parking lot”, performance which was held at the Los Angeles Museum of contemporary art.

Arte, ironia, teatrali e visionarie suggestioni splendono nella collezione primavera/estate 2012 di MoonSpoon Saloon, meraviglioso brand e collettivo di artisti creato dalla designer Sara Sachs, l’ artista Tal R ed il fotografo, regista Noam Griegst che vivono e creano tra Copenaghen e Los Angeles, protagonisti nelle vesti di performers in vari musei e gallerie d’arte quali la Victoria Miro Gallery di Londra che ha ospitato la performance “White Crane” e la performance “Heavy metal parking lot” che si è tenuta al Museum of contemporary art di Los Angeles.

ITS #TEN is the latest edition of famous talent-scouting award International Talent Support, ideated by the bright Barbara Franchin which will be held from 15th to 16th July 2011 in Trieste and it will celebrate its 10th birthday, featuring a vibrant concept, based on the theory of conspiracy. It’s an event thought to be an underground liberation movement and to raise awareness in humankind by a not clearly-defined conspiracy having its roots into mass control, subliminal symbolism – inducing to creativity, mental freedom, love and growth -, devoted to mind control, ritual ceremonies, prophecies and obscure events. A multimedia approach emphasized by a parallel website that will constantly publish articles and documents to support the theory and warn people. Furthermore special eye-glasses that – when they will be worn – will make the viewer discover the truth by witnessing hidden mind-controlling messages – like in the movie “They Live” by John Carpenter -, concealed throughout ITS website. The results arising from these initiatives will be shown during the event. The not to be missed happening – that launched smashing creatives as Yuima Nakazato and Fabrizio Talia – will include four areas forming its platform of creative exploration :1 ITS#FASHION having as partner the brand DIESEL, 2 ITS#ACCESSORIES - featuring the partnership of YKK, 3 ITS#PHOTO - of whose partner is DISARONNO – and the new area 4 ITS#JEWELRY of whose partner is SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. The deadline to be selected and feature in the event will be on 25th March 2011. Thus young designers, don’t miss this chance to exhibit your creativity. I sincerely wish all of you good luck. Please don’t’ stop yourself, go ahead as you are the hope to end the chapter of contemporary fashion, based on postmodernism and to write a new one, hopefully expressing new ideas that aren’t a mere re-reading of past and are more connected to values as genuineness and humanity.
ITS #TEN, OLTRE UN CONCORSO DI TALENT-SCOUTING
ITS #TEN é l’ultima edizione del famoso International Talent Support, concorso di talent-scouting ideato dalla brillante Barbara Franchin che si terrà dal 15 al 16 luglio 2011 a Trieste e celebrerà il suo 10° compleanno, avendo quale protagonista un vibrante concept, basato sulla teoria della cospirazione. È un evento pensato per realizzare un movimento underground di liberazione e infondere consapevolezza nel genere umano mediante una cospirazione non chiaramente definita che ha le sue radici nel controllo di massa, il simbolismo subliminale – una versione positiva che induce alla creatività, libertà mentale, amore e crescita individuale -, devota al controllo della mente, a cerimonie rituali, profezie ed eventi oscuri. Un approccio multimediale enfatizzato da un parallelo sito web che costantemente pubblicherà articoli e documentazioni per supportare la teoria e informare il genere umano. Inoltre speciali occhiali – quando saranno indossati – faranno scoprire all’osservatore la verità mediante la testimonianza del messaggi occulti che controllano la mente – come nel film “Essi vivono” di John Carpenter -, nascosti ovunque nel sito web di ITS . I risultati derivanti da tali iniziative saranno esposti in occasione dell’evento. The celebrated Italian photographer Ferdinando Scianna collaborated with the Italian brand of shoes Fratelli Rossetti to document and tell by photography about the work made in its factories, featuring the artisans and their hands. The unseen shots will be premiered during the opening of Pitti Uomo latest edition – which will be held from 11th to 14th January 2011 – along with a video telling about the career of the photographer.
ARTIGIANALITÁ SU PELLICOLA: FERDINANDO SCIANNA & FRATELLI ROSSETTI
Il celebre fotografo italiano Ferdinando Scianna ha collaborato con il brand italiano di calzature Fratelli Rossetti per documentare e raccontare in fotografia il lavoro realizzato nelle sue fabbriche di cui sono protagonisti gli artigiani e le loro mani. Gli scatti inediti verranno presentati in anteprima durante l’apertura dell’ultima edizione di Pitti Uomo – che si terrà dall’11 al 14 gennaio 2011 – unitamente a un video che racconta la carriera del fotografo.

A piece of Paris being a hymn to savoir vivre, the Ladurée pastry shop – producing the macarons, delicious pastries, loved yesterday by queen Marie Antoinette and today by Karl Lagerfeld and many other ones, as well as the one who writes – comes in Milan, opening the first Italian store, at Via Spadari, close to the area of Duomo. The boutique will afford customers a wide range of macarons – as basil and liquorice, rose and violet, jasmine, pistachio and other ones, usually included in refined boxes as the ones created in limited edition together with famous names of fashion world as Lacroix, Louboutin e Marni -, but also honey and chocolates. “The age of elegance, the filatures and weavings by Costa in Como during the Fifties”, an exhibition – made by the Museo Studio del Tessuto-MuST of Antonio Ratti Foundation in collaboration with the Como State Archive and curated by Margherita Rosia and Francina Chiara – celebrating the texile designer Costa family which will be opened on 5th May 2010 at 6.30 pm in Como at the Villa del Grumello and held from May 6th to 27th June 2010. Here it will be showcased the clothes created by Dior, Fath, Sully Dumas, Jean Patou, Balenciaga e Galitzine, made of Costa fabrics, it will be presented for the first time to public a dress made by Tirelli Rome Haute Couture and also a dress of the Spring/Summer collection 1953 of Hubert De Givenchy – of whose just only two items are known, being at the Costume Institute of New York Metropolitan Museum and Paris Galliera Museum – and it will be told the whole producing cycle of fabric: the idea, creation of design, the print tests on paper and the finished fabric. A not to be missed happening to enjoy the splendor of an unforgettable chapter of Made in Italy history.
L’ETÀ DELL’ELEGANZA, LE FILANDE E TESSITURE COSTA NELLA COMO DEGLI ANNI CINQUANTA
Afternoon dress by Hubert De Givenchy Spring/Summer 1953 collection
“L’età dell’eleganza, le filande e tessitura Costa nella como degli anni Cinquanta”, una mostra – realizzata con il Museo Studio del Tessuto-MuST della Fondazione Antonio Ratti in collaborazione con l’Archivio di Stato di Como e curata da Margherita Rosia e Francina Chiara – che celebra la famiglia di designer di tessuti Costa che sarà inaugurata il 5 maggio 2010 alle 18.30 a Como presso la Villa del Grumello e si terrà dal 6 maggio al 27 giugno 2010. Ivi saranno esposti gli abiti creati da Dior, Fath, Sully Dumas, Jean Patou, Balenciaga e Galitzine, realizzati con i tessuti Costa, sarà presentato per la prima volta al pubblico un abito della Sartoria di Roma Tirelli ed anche un abito della collezione primavera/estate del 1953 di Hubert De Givenchy – della quale si conoscono soltanto due esemplari che si trovano presso il Costume Institute del Metropolitan Museum di New York ed al Museo Galliera di Parigi – e sarà raccontato l’intero ciclo di produzione del tessuto: l’idea iniziale, la creazione del disegno, le prove di stampa su carta ed il prodotto finito. Un appuntamento imperdibile per godersi lo splendore di un indimenticabile capitolo di storia del Made in Italy.
